At the first meeting after the District St Georges Day parade, it was my pleasant duty to present some leader awards to the leaders in our Group.
The first award went to Laura the Beaver Leader who received her five-year service award and also a Wood Badge certificate for her change of role from Assistant Beaver Leader to Beaver Leader. The second award of the evening went to Kerry who has completed her formal training and was awarded her Wood Badge, wood beads and certificate. Leigh our Scout Leader also received his Wood Badge certificate for his change of role from Assistant Scout Leader to Scout Leader and Hugh also received a Wood Badge certificate for his change of role from Scout Leader to Assistant Scout Leader.
